This sweater is my first attempt at a Nordic sweater – most of the patterns are from an old Norwegian knitting book my father-in-law has kindly given me and the pattern on the body is from an old Swedish pattern.
This is my first, but surly not the last, attempt at a Norwegian inspired sweater.
At that time it took me great effort to make the red shoes look nice – too many stitches between the dancing feet, but is my small way of paying respect to all the ladies who were wore the red shoes literally or in spirit.
Just love the sweater, I envy your creativity, to make your own designs.
I love the small, dancing Women – they are just wonderfull as well the woman who wears it!
