By mixing patterns and different stitches I wanted to give him a sweater where he would always find a new combination of patterns and yarn to focus on.

<p>By mixing patterns and different stitches I wanted to give him a sweater where he would always find a new combination of patterns and yarn to focus on.</p>
<p>While knitting this sweater I lived in London so therefore I was very inspired by English patterns mixed with Norwegian and Faroese patterns and Japanese knitting technique.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family: georgia"><span lang="EN-GB">At that time it took me great effort to make the red shoes look nice &#8211; too many stitches between the dancing feet, but is my small way of paying respect to all the ladies who were wore the red shoes literally or in spirit. <span> </span></span></p>
