Quickly made

Nice project when you want to travel light

Supports knitting in all positions

Are nice to wear

Not only were these socks nice to knit but because the pink yarn is bought when I was in San Francisco and the black yarn when I was in Switzerland, the yarn brings back nice memories.

The little lace pattern is very easy and you just have to repeat the pattern below of 7 stitches:

Row 1: knit 1, purl 2, knit 2, purl 2
Row 2: knit 1, purl 2, knit 2 stitches together, yarn over, purl 2
Row 3: knit 1, purl 2, knit 2, purl 2
Row 4: knit 1, purl 2, yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2

Respeat row 1 to 4

The wool was given to me by a dear friend and a great knitter, and this of course added to the pleasure of making the scarf.
All you need is two balls of yarn (one option is Rowan Polar or something similar) some ribbon (100 cm) and needles size 8 (European size)

Cast on 30 stitches.
Row 1: (knit 1, purl 1) x 6, (knit 1)x6, (purl 1, knit 1)x 6
Row 3: As row 2
Row 4: As row 2
Row 5: As row 2
Row 6: Slip the first stitch, (purl 1, knit 1)x5 , purl 1, (knit 1) X3, yarn over (this will make one extra stitch on the next row, (knit 1)x 3 , (purl 1, knit 1)x 6
Row 7: Slip the first stitch, (purl 1, knit 1)x5 , purl 1, (knit 1) X7, (purl 1, knit 1)x 6
Row 8: Slip the first stitch, (purl 1, knit 1)x5 , purl 1, (knit 1) X3, knit two stitches together, (knit 1)x 2 , (purl 1, knit 1)x 6

This “scarf” (halsedisse) is made for a small child, but I had no child model at hand so this is why the scarf looks a bit small. I especially like the effect of the Lana Grossa – Numero Uno Print yarn. You can use any yarn you like but I used Lana Grossa – Numero Uno Print and Hjertegarn Superwash Vital.

All I did was:

Cast on 80 stitches of Lana Grossa – Numero Uno Print yarn on a circular needle with size 4,5 (European size). The pattern: knit one – purl one until the tube is 15 centimetres long.

The rest of the scarf is knitted in Hjertegarn Superwash Vital. Leave 40 stitches (part A) on a separate needle to rest while you knit the remaining 40 stitches (part B).

How to knit part B:

Row 1: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit x 32, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 2: knit, purl, knit, purl x 34, knit, purl, knit

Row 1 and 2 is repeated 11 times each

Row 25: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, knit x 28, knit 2 stitches together, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 26: knit, purl, knit, purl x 30, knit, purl, knit
Row 27: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, knit x 26, knit 2 stitches together, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 28: knit, purl, knit, purl x 28, knit, purl, knit
Row 29: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, knit x 24, knit 2 stitches together, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 30: knit, purl, knit, purl x 26, knit, purl, knit
Row 31: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, knit x 22, knit 2 stitches together, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 32: knit, purl, knit, purl x 24, knit, purl, knit
Row 33: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, knit x 20, knit 2 stitches together, purl, knit, purl, knit
Row 34: knit, purl, knit, purl x 22, knit, purl, knit
Row 35: knit, purl, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, purl, (knit, purl)X 10, knit
Row 36: knit, (purl, knit)X 13

Row 35 and 36 is repeated 2 times each

Row 41: cast off

Knit part A as part B.
