Elsewhere I have seen the pattern being called Fern Diamonds (The knitting Harmony Guides 450 Knitting Stitches vol 2 p 60). At the moment I am trying my luck with Elizabeth Zimmermann's Surprise Jacket. I find her explanation a little difficult to follow, any thought on that pattern?
